We have chosen our three charities which Glenorchy will be supporting in 2024 through ‘Mission boxes’ and fund-raising events. First, it is clear that we should continue helping Mark, Dorcas and ‘tribe’ (all their adopted children) at Rehoboth near Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. We have supported them for several years and it certainly seemed right to continue.

The other chosen international charity is Water Aid and we shall learn a little about them at the Mission Sunday on April 14.

We usually include a UK charity and this year we shall have chosen one that helps the homeless: St Petrock’s Centre in Exeter.
